  • Responsible for stock selection and portfolio construction. Instrumental in developing North of South investment philosophy and process.
  • Previously worked as an Equity/Derivative Portfolio Manager at Dresdner Kleinwort. Started his career in equities at UBS Warburg Investment Bank.
  • Kamil has over twenty-five years’ experience in equity and derivative trading

Robert Holmes, CAIA

Partner and Senior Analyst

  • Responsible for portfolio construction on the Income Strategy
  • Focuses on researching and selecting income generating equities for the portfolios.
  • Over thirty years of experience in Emerging Markets and has been lead manager of long/short, long-only and multi-asset funds

Mark Latham

Portfolio Manager and Partner

  • Mark is Strategist / Natural Resource Analyst and Partner at North of South, having joined the company in 2004.
  • Uses his specialist knowledge to identify shifts in global economic trends and recommends stocks in natural resources sector.
  • Mr Latham holds a Masters in Natural Science from Cambridge University.

Nick Page

Head of Research and Partner

  • Nick is Head of Research at North of South Capital LLP with over twenty years of investment experience.
  • Ensures consistent application of North of South’s philosophy and valuation models in bottom-up analysis by the team
  • Nick was previously at Fiera Capital where he was responsible for Emerging Market coverage of Global Energy and Global Materials sectors.

Tony Tsai

  • Fifteen years’ experience working in technology companies, and fifteen years’ experience in Taiwanese stock market, Mandarin speaker
  • Covers technology and Asian stocks with particular emphasis on Taiwan

Conrad Lee, CFA

Senior Analyst

  • Conrad is a senior analyst at North of South. He started his career working in high yield and leveraged finance for firms including Dresdner Kleinwort, RBS and Stifel KBW.
  • Generates and analyses ideas in Korea and beyond
  • Conrad holds a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Ariadne Baden-Powell

Senior Analyst

  • Ariadne is a senior analyst at North of South. She started her career at Somerset Capital, a long-only emerging market focused fund.
  • Ariadne is a sector specialist, looking at banks and financial services across global emerging markets.
  • Ariadne holds an MSc in Investment Management from Bayes Business School and an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics. 

Arnoud Van Leeuwen

COO and Partner
  • Arnoud is the Chief Operational Officer and Partner, having joined the company in 2004 initially as the Operations Manager
  • He is responsible for operational, compliance and infrastructure within the company
  • He achieved a BA in International Finance and Marketing from Boston University and holds a MA from London Business School.

Ruriko Fujita

Operations Associate

  • Ruriko joined North of South in 2011.
  • She is responsible for the day to day operational function of the company including trade bookings, settlements, portfolio reconciliations and NAVs.
  • She has a strong background in finance and accounting, having received a MSc in International Finance and is currently working towards her ACCA accounting qualification.

Christophe Alabi

  • Christophe joined North of South in 2021 to compliment the operations team
  • Christophe was previously at State Street Bank with over four years asset manager client services experience.

Nnemoa Odozi

Chief Compliance Officer

  • Has 12 years Compliance experience, having worked at SMBC Nikko and Lehman Brothers
  • Nneoma’s responsibilities include maintaining the Compliance infrastructure within the Firm

Mahendra Panchal

Senior Operations Analyst

  • Joined North of South in 2024.
  • Mahendra was previously a senior client representative at State Street Bank in Poland.
  • Masters in Law and International Management and a Bachelors in Science.

Mary Murphy

Head of Institutional Sales – Pacific Asset Management

Mary is a Partner and head of Pacific’s Global Institutional business. She joined from GAM, where she led as the Head of Global Consultant Relations.

Prior to that, she worked at BlackRock, holding the position of Head of UK Investment Consultant Strategy in their Global Consultant Relations (EMEA) team. Mary also held sales roles at Deutsche Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors.

Nick Lemis

Global Head of Wholesale

  • Nick Lemis is the Global Head of Wholesale, responsible for distributing PAM’s single manager range of funds.
  • Nick joined from DCI where he was Senior Product Specialist with responsibility for distributing DCIs product range and investment capabilities to a broad range of clients in Europe.
  • Prior to joining DCI, Nick was Head of UK Wholesale Distribution at GAM covering Intermediaries, Advisers, Private banks and Investment managers across UK, Ireland, Africa and Greece.
  • Nick began his career at Tradition Brokers.

Freddie Streeter

Head of Global Solutions – Pacific Asset Management

  • Freddie is Head of Global Solutions at Pacific Asset Management and was appointed in September 2016.
  • He was a Client Director at GAM for 7 years where he was responsible for distributing the business’ investments capabilities in the UK and Internationally.
  • Prior to that he worked for Credit Agricole after graduating from Newcastle university.
